<strong>Scholarship</strong> Description: Every year, Kohl’s recognizes and rewards young volunteers (ages 6-18) across the country for their amazing<br />

contributions to their communities. National Winners will each be awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships for post-secondary<br />

education and Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a non-profit organization on each winner’s behalf. Additional Requirements: Award based<br />

on substantial community service. Students must be nominated.<br />

<strong>Scholarship</strong> Award Amount: Store winners will receive a $50.00 Kohl’s Gift Card. Additionally, over two hundred $1,000 regional<br />

scholarship awards for post-secondary education are planned, half to each age group. Ten $10,000 national scholarships for postsecondary<br />

education<br />

<strong>Scholarship</strong> Qualifications: Must be between the ages of 6 and 18 and not yet a high school graduate.<br />

• Winners are chosen based on the project, benefits and outcome.<br />

<strong>Scholarship</strong> Description: The Marriott Scholars Program can propel you toward your future with the financial support you need<br />

and the professional career development you want now, before you graduate. Apply to the Marriott Scholars Program which offers<br />

financial support of up to $9,000 per year for four years coupled with opportunities for on-going career guidance and mentoring.<br />

<strong>Scholarship</strong> Qualifications: Be of Hispanic/Latino heritage<br />

• Be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico.<br />

• Be an upcoming freshman or sophomore for the <strong>2013</strong>-2014 school year, including students who will<br />

transfer from a community college to a four-year school as a freshman or sophomore for <strong>2013</strong>-2014.<br />

• Plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student during the <strong>2013</strong>-2014 school year in a hospitality<br />

management or culinary program.<br />

• Plan to pursue a degree within the hospitality management, hotel management, culinary, or food<br />

beverage field.<br />

• Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.<br />
