Many mission-minded believers see fundraising as the
number one obstacle to becoming a missionary. However, the
support-raising phase of mission service is in itself a vital part of
our ministry. Other Christians want to be closely involved in what
God is doing in other cultures. So allowing them to supply part of
our missionary income gives them a vital role.
Although funding may not be a popular discussion point in the
typical mission presentation, it’s definitely an important topic for
aspiring missionaries and their families. Let’s think through some
