On-the-field missionaries need to regularly talk and pray with
friends, prayer partners, and counselors about being single, about
being married, or about raising children in the practicalities of
mission life. Even before committing to a life of mission service,
it’s a good idea to get the input of a leader in your local church
on this chapter’s questions. As you answer the relevant questions,
ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, through God’s Word and through
prayer. Answer each question in light of what you currently understand
from God.
