11. Direct links to <strong>VISL</strong>’s language games and quizzes<br />
The <strong>VISL</strong> site contains a number of language games and quizzes which<br />
provide users with the opportunity of testing their knowledge of language<br />
structure and grammatical terminology in a highly interactive fashion.<br />
Feedback is immediate, individualized, and freely available around the clock.<br />
Most of the games keep track of high scores over given periods of time (e.g.<br />
365 days, 30 days, 24 hours), so users can compare their best performances<br />
with other players from around the world. The following games and quizzes<br />
play a significant role in connection with this course:<br />
• form games: Paintbox, Word Fall, Shooting Gallery, Labyrinth<br />
• function games: Syntris, Space Rescue<br />
• morphology game: Balloon Ride<br />
