LMS 2nd Annual Science Fair January 22-‐23, 2013. Register today! <br />
Middle <strong>School</strong> Science students put your knowledge on display! Join the Science Fair. <br />
Perform an experiment, have fun, learn something new and win prizes! <br />

Students already registered, don't forget to get your paperwork approved. <br />
Some select Science students will be ajending the 28th Annual Brossman Science Lecture <br />
at Millersville University in November, do stay tuned for the thrills of their adventure! <br />
ESL <br />
Sharlyn Yambo is our ESL student of the month. She is an 8 th grade student in <br />
intermediate ESL and this is her first year at LMS. Sharlyn previously ajended school in <br />
Newark, NJ and Puerto Rico. She is an excepXonal student who plans on ajending college <br />
to study forensic science aler graduaXng from high school. <br />
Special Educa;on <br />
Do you need extra assistance with homework? If so, stop by the LS Homework Center! <br />
Learning Support Homework Center is open to all Learning Support students in 6th <br />
through 8th grade. LS Homework Center is held Monday and Wednesday (2:40-‐3:30) and <br />
Friday (2:40-‐3:15). Stop by room 216 aler school for extra help and assistance. <br />

Physical Educa;on <br />
Physical EducaXon students in 6th and 7th grade have been parXcipaXng in the following <br />
fall sports: flag football, soccer, field hockey and tennis. The students hope to conXnue <br />
going outside as long as possible, please remember that students may wear sweatpants <br />
and/or a sweatshirt over top of your physical educaXon clothing, which includes a t-‐shirt <br />
and shorts. Students must change into their physical educaXon clothing in the locker <br />
rooms provided. 8th grade students have completed their health classes on relaXonships <br />
and will need their gym clothing for Gym in order to parXcipate in fall sports acXviXes.
