Since 2009, IAM has been linked to<br />
“International pathways” which is intrinsic<br />
to the DNA of Apparel Exports. These<br />
international programs offer Collaborative<br />
educational programmes with leading<br />
international institutions/universities and<br />
are an integral part of IAM’s “Multi-Varsity”<br />
umbrella; 9 students of IAM have just<br />
completed a ‘Summer School program’ at<br />
University of Wolverhampton, UK. Another<br />
batch had earlier gone to Modspe, Paris for a<br />
2 months attachment.<br />
It may be recalled that at the 2nd<br />
Convocation of IAM in January, 2013, the<br />
Secretary (Textiles) had launched the new<br />
B.Tech (4-years) programme in collaboration<br />
with the Mewar University. A series of<br />
Innovations of IAM have been captured in<br />
“Innovations & Initiatives” a coffee table<br />
book which was launched by Hon’ble Union<br />
Minister of Textiles last year.<br />
IAM students are our biggest strengths<br />
along with our talented faculty members.<br />

• Kanisk Bhardwaj Final Year Student<br />
of Apparel Design and Merchandizing<br />
(ADM) at IAM has launched his clothing<br />
Brand “Har-Yarn-V”.<br />
• Joyeta Rohills and Lipakshi Kakar final<br />
year students of Fashion and Lifestyle<br />
Design at IAM have launched a new<br />
brand focusing on women clothing.<br />
• Aashna Behl recently launched<br />
SSUKRAATU a retail clothing brand<br />
specialising in women’s Ethnic wear.<br />
• A student Sandeep Kaidyan from APM<br />
has set-up a manufacturing unit for the<br />
shirts and trousers and have launched<br />
also a domestic brand.<br />
• An FDM student, Rianta, is running a<br />
luxury customised packaging business.<br />
• Yet another student, Akanksha Singh,<br />
has launched online graphic ‘Tee’ Shirt<br />
marketing.<br />
