INCIDENTAL MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATORS
TM 11240-15/3F
F-1. PURPOSE. This appendix provides instructions and procedures for training and
licensing incidental HMMWV operators developed by the Motor Transport Community
establishing standards for the conduct of home station, predeployment, and sustainment
training. The new training continuum more clearly defines HMMWV driver training
progression by combing existing requirements with newly defined training standards and
required sustainment intervals.
F-2. RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Training and Education Command.
(1). Motor Transport Training and Education Center of Excellence
(MTTECOE). Maintain and publish to the Motor Transport Instruction School website
(HTTP://MCDETFLW.TECOM.USMC.MIL/MTIC/MT.ASP) the following:
A. Student and driver logbooks.
B. Lesson plans for Incidental Motor Vehicle Operator Phase
(IMVOL) and Advanced Tactical Motor Vehicle Operator courses (ATMVO) Training Phase
