Always switch ofi the ignition when disconnecnng/con<br />
necling ignition system terminals<br />

Begin by€hecking all relevantterminals 3nd conneclors<br />
before carrying out extensive faull lraclng procedures<br />

Never let spark iengthexceed<br />
5 mm when checking<br />
ignirion system circuitsor<br />
contro unit may be damaged.<br />
Consequendy, connect spark plug to HT ead and earth<br />
plug via engine.<br />
CAUTION:<br />
To avoid damaging the conneclor sleeves DO NOT DIS-<br />
CONNECT CONNECTOR lrom conlrol unil when checking<br />
vollage. The volt-/ohm-meler should be connecled<br />
direclly lo the wires.<br />
