General instructions Always switch ofi the ignition when disconnecnng/con necling ignition system terminals H2 Begin by€hecking all relevantterminals 3nd conneclors before carrying out extensive faull lraclng procedures H3 Never let spark iengthexceed 5 mm when checking ignirion system circuitsor contro unit may be damaged. Consequendy, connect spark plug to HT ead and earth plug via engine. CAUTION: To avoid damaging the conneclor sleeves DO NOT DIS- CONNECT CONNECTOR lrom conlrol unil when checking vollage.
