Take the family <strong>and</strong> forget about driving to the<br />
fair <strong>and</strong> ride the <strong>Burlington</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong><br />
Bus. The Tunbridge World’s Fair began in 1867<br />
<strong>and</strong> has been held for 138 years. The annual<br />
fair continues to this day with demonstrations of<br />
farming <strong>and</strong> agricultural traditions <strong>and</strong> working<br />
antique displays, horse <strong>and</strong> ox pulling, horse<br />
racing, cattle <strong>and</strong> horse shows, junior exhibits,<br />
midway, fair food <strong>and</strong> lots of free shows.<br />

Pick-up at <strong>Burlington</strong> High School by Bus<br />

Pack a lunch, jump on the bus with the kids<br />
<strong>and</strong> ride to St. Albans for the famous VT Maple<br />
Festival. There is “Something for everyone”<br />
including the parade, pony rides, face painting,<br />
sugar-on-snow <strong>and</strong> free entertainment on the<br />
Main Street Stage. Bring cash for snacks <strong>and</strong><br />
goodies. Some additional activities do charge<br />
a fee.<br />

the road <strong>and</strong> we will be off to the colorful Stowe<br />
Balloon Festival at the Stoweflake Resort <strong>and</strong><br />
Spa. We will enjoy live entertainment, food<br />
<strong>and</strong> drinks as well as a children’s corner with<br />
activities for the little ones. The launch is at 6:30<br />
sharp. For additional cost of $10.00 per person,<br />
you may choose to go up, up (but not away!) in<br />
a tethered balloon!<br />

Pack up the kids <strong>and</strong> a lunch <strong>and</strong> hop on the<br />
bus. We will follow our maps through the most<br />
extensive corn maze in Chittenden County. Past<br />
participants say that it is “amazing” <strong>and</strong> that<br />
they “zipped right through!” Your map will be<br />
stamped at all checkpoints. Bring lunch, water<br />
<strong>and</strong> sunscreen <strong>and</strong> your sense of adventure!<br />
