Meeting of the <strong>Burlington</strong><br />
Bocce Club (BBC)<br />
Wednesday, May 2 | 7:00P – 9:00P<br />
All are welcome to come <strong>and</strong> discuss the<br />
coming bocce season: tournaments <strong>and</strong><br />
leagues, rule changes, court improvements<br />
<strong>and</strong> more. The meeting will be held in the Pine<br />
Street offices of the Department of <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>Recreation</strong>. Refreshments will be provided.<br />
Ladder tournament starts<br />
Friday, June 1<br />
Join for summer long singles competition.<br />

1284.) for more information about the ladder<br />
<strong>and</strong> how to register. The fee for the season<br />
<strong>and</strong> championship tournament is $10 for BBC<br />
members <strong>and</strong> $20 for non-BBC members.<br />

Friday, June 1<br />
We will have at least one doubles league,<br />
<strong>and</strong> each team can have up to four players.<br />
Rosters must be submitted to Z<strong>and</strong>er by this<br />
date. League rules <strong>and</strong> specifications will be<br />
distributed during early June <strong>and</strong> a schedule<br />
made <strong>and</strong> distributed to players. League play<br />
will start in the middle of June. If you do not<br />
have a team, just submit your name to Z<strong>and</strong>er.<br />
To promote competition, the league/s may be<br />
h<strong>and</strong>icapped. For more information contact<br />
Z<strong>and</strong>er. The fee is $15 per person for BBC<br />
members <strong>and</strong> $20 per person for nonmembers.<br />
orientation <strong>and</strong> instruction<br />
Sunday, June 10 | 1:00P<br />
Information will be provided about the courts,<br />
leagues <strong>and</strong> tournaments. Basic instruction<br />
will be provided for those who want it, <strong>and</strong> a<br />
skills contest will be held to help determine fair<br />
h<strong>and</strong>icaps for league play. H<strong>and</strong>icaps will be<br />
based on skills contest <strong>and</strong> past performance<br />
in bocce on BBC’s courts. Participants who do<br />
not have a team will be assigned to one.<br />

(June 18 is the rainout back-up date) The fee<br />
for the tournament is $7.00 per person for<br />
currently registered BBC members, <strong>and</strong> $14.00<br />
per person for non-BBC members. Registration<br />
for the tournament closes Saturday, June 17 at<br />
8:45am. Depending on the number of entrants,<br />
the tournament will either be double elimination<br />

fee for the tournament is $7.00 per person for<br />
currently registered BBC members, <strong>and</strong> $14.00<br />
per person for non-BBC members. Registration<br />
for the tournament closes Saturday, August 4 at<br />
8:45am. Depending on the number of entrants,<br />
the tournament will either be double elimination<br />

Vermont senior Games<br />
Saturday, August 11 | 9:00A<br />
Sunday, August 12 | 9:00A<br />
Singles will be held on Saturday, while doubles<br />
are on Sunday. Fees <strong>and</strong> tournament structure<br />
for these games have not yet been set. To<br />
a large extent, the number of entrants will<br />
determine them. In case of a rainout, the<br />
competition will be held on the following<br />
