Join us as we walk the Robert Frost Interpretive<br />

Trail in the Green Mountain National Forest, near<br />

Ripton Vermont. The trail is a gentle walk thru<br />

the meadows <strong>and</strong> forest, along with Robert<br />

Frost’s poems interpretively displayed along<br />

the way. Bring a lunch, wear sturdy shoes or<br />

hiking boots. <strong>Burlington</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong><br />

will provide transportation <strong>and</strong> refreshing drinks.<br />

Please register a week before each walk.<br />

May 14 / B Charlotte Wildflower Farm<br />

Join us for a walk thru the wildflower farm’s 1/4<br />

mile loop trail through open fields, a running<br />

brook <strong>and</strong> a pond. Small signs thru out the<br />

paths offer fun <strong>and</strong> interesting stories <strong>and</strong> folk<br />

lore about wildflowers. Bring a lunch <strong>and</strong> we will<br />

provide refreshing drinks. Wear sturdy shoes or<br />

hiking boots. <strong>Burlington</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong><br />

will provide the transportation. Register a week<br />

before each walk.<br />

June 4 / D Crown Point Historical Site<br />

Join us for a great historical visit, as we walk<br />

thru the ruins of the 18th century Crown Point<br />

Fort which was a site for both French <strong>and</strong> British<br />

soldiers, along with visiting the visitors center<br />

that is part of the fort. Wear sturdy shoes or<br />

hiking boots. Bring a lunch <strong>and</strong> we will provide<br />

refreshing drinks along with transportation to the<br />

fort. Register a week before each walk.<br />
