The fourth event, at the Heaton’s Bridge Inn, Scarisbrick on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, will feature a range of second world war vehicles including a Howitzer, a Mighty Antar tank transporter complete with Abbot tank, a Saracen armoured vehicle, a 25–pounder field gun with Quad truck and limber (ammo carrier), an armoured personnel carrier, Jeeps and Land Rovers. The Military Vehicle Trust Event is hosted by the Heatons Bridge proprietor, Steve Winrow and runs alongside an Ale Trail event organised by the Merseyside Transport Trust, which runs vintage buses between local pubs and has a drop–off at the Heatons Bridge.
