The 35–year–old might have retired from football but he stuck true to his roots by posing for pictures with the winners of Bootle and District Primary School leagues and cups. Pupils were presented with their league winners shields and cups by the defender, who then picked up an award himself for his dedication to helping school football. Bootle and District Primary School FA is in its 100th year and is being run by volunteers John Rourke, aged 70, and chairman Ian Chapman, both have been involved for a total of 89 years. A NEW agency and management company has launched with an all singing, all dancing event at Liverpool One. KCJ Promotions, based in Southport, specialises in all aspects of the entertainment industry as well as being a promotional and modelling agency. The event included a line up of eight tribute acts including Michael Jackson, Adele, Phil Collins and Katy Perry and a magic show.
