Disassembly Procedures<br />

WARNING<br />

7. Remove left and right Tumbler Bearings.<br />

8. Remove 4 Transmission mounting bolts.<br />

9. Lift Transmission Assembly from washer.<br />

10.Lock Spinner position with Short extension.<br />

11. Remove 6 Spinner mounting bolts.<br />

12.Lift Spinner From Washer.<br />

13.Remove Drain Pump Hose From Outer Tub.<br />

14.Unplug Motor Harness from Motor.<br />

15.Remove Motor Harness Strain Relief attached to<br />

Outer Tub.<br />

To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury or<br />

death; disconnect power to unit before servicing.<br />

18.Unhook Rear Struts From Outer Tub. Press the Rear<br />

Strut Rod near the connection point to the tub.<br />

19.Roll Outer Tub over pivoting on the Front Struts for<br />

support.<br />

Strain Relief And<br />

Screw<br />

20.Lift Outer Tub from washer and set on side or top.<br />

Drive Motor Removal<br />

1. Disconnect power supply to unit.<br />

2. Lift Top Cover.<br />

3. Remove Front Panel.<br />

4. Unplug Motor Harness from Motor.<br />

5. Loosen Drive Motor tension bolt.<br />

16.Unplug Heater Harness from Heater Assembly.<br />

Remove Heater Harness Strain Relief from Outer<br />

Tub (Heater Models Only).<br />

17.Unhook Tub Displacement Sensor and tuck out of<br />

way.<br />

Loosen Bolt<br />
