Mecca on Main provides affordable studio space for artists to create, sell and teach their art. “Mecca is committed to enriching the community by providing art classes, beautifying the historical town and supporting the advancement of creative programs for all ages,” says Founder and Watercolor Artist, Lisa Reed. Mecca offers studio space, gallery, gifts, art classes and special event space. Aspiring artists can find art classes at Mecca such as, oil painting, watercolor workshop, introduction to polymer clay and collage and affirmation cards. The classes are taught by many talented artists in North Texas. A complete list can be found at www. aubreyartists.com. Artists will find many benefits of being a member of Mecca on Main. They will enjoy a great studio space in which to create their art, an active retail space on a high traffic street and a place to teach others your craft. Mecca is a great place to make connections with fellow artists and to have the possibility of being discovered by other galleries. Members will also have their art represented on the Mecca on Main website that is under construction and benefit from local advertising. Not only does Mecca on Main serve as a place where artists of all kinds can create and sell their art, but the unique historical building is also available for use by other clubs, organizations and private functions.
