The participants accommodation and travel costs were covered by the project budget.<br />

Based on the Sava Gap Analysis (Task 1.1) and resulting agreement with the Beneficiaries, the<br />

interactive working sessions were mainly divided into two groups with the topics<br />

• GIS in water management and<br />

• Pollution - point and diffuse sources<br />

The sessions were held in an interactive way including many discussions and bilateral exchange of<br />

information and experiences.<br />

The feedback from the participants was very positive, especially about the interactive character of<br />

the workshop<br />

The Working Sessions Summary including the List of Participants and the Agenda are attached<br />

in Annex 2.3.<br />

1.2.3. Electronic Workshop Follow-up to the national government experts<br />

This communication service was designed after various feed-back from Beneficiaries during the<br />

Inception Phase in order to secure more sustainable benefits of Consultant expertise beyond the<br />

workshop presentations and discussions. It should allow a more individual communication for<br />

specific problems or issues. This service was announced and offered at every meeting (CARDS<br />

workshops in Belgrade and Sarajevo, Vienna Working Sessions) but used until the end of<br />

November 2006 by the national government experts only in three cases. The answers were given<br />

by UBA experts A. Scheidleder, F. Humer und A. Rauchbüchl:<br />
