<strong>TraumaCad</strong> <strong>Admin's</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />

Manually on an as-needed basis. This option is typically used when the <strong>TraumaCad</strong><br />
server is not continuously connected to the Internet. To use this option, connect to<br />
the Internet, download and then disconnect using the Update Templates Now<br />
button.<br />
In the Service control area, you can stop or start this service. Stopping the service while<br />
it is running may take a few minutes. Once you stop the service, it remains stopped until<br />
the <strong>TraumaCad</strong> Templates Update Service is restarted by pressing the Start Service<br />
button or by restarting the <strong>TraumaCad</strong> server.<br />
During the Downloading Process<br />
While the <strong>TraumaCad</strong> server is downloading, the following message appears:<br />
During the weekly update process only new or updated templates will be downloaded.<br />
Templates that were removed from <strong>Voyant</strong>’s database will be removed automatically<br />
from the <strong>TraumaCad</strong> server. Restart the <strong>TraumaCad</strong> client after an update to refresh the<br />
templates on the client.<br />
