Article 2.4<br />
Addition of a new item:<br />
g) <strong>The</strong> Mentor shall ensure that the register of various breeds i.e. the Pedigree Book<br />
is kept according to the FIFe <strong>Breeding</strong> and <strong>Registration</strong> rules. If necessary, the<br />
Mentor can call upon the assistance of the FIFe <strong>Breeding</strong> and <strong>Registration</strong><br />
<strong>Commission</strong> to perform a necessary inspection and to advise the Patronage<br />
member. Responsibility for the costs of this visit shall be clarified in advance.<br />
Motivation<br />
<strong>The</strong>re is nowhere mentioned in the rules regarding Patronage members that a pedigree book must<br />
be kept according to FIFe <strong>Breeding</strong> & <strong>Registration</strong> Rules.<br />
<strong>The</strong> commission wants to make it perfectly clear that a pedigree book must be kept, and are at any<br />
time willing to advise a probational member regarding pedigree book-keeping and applying the<br />
registration rules.
