Saving Your Program With a Different Name
You’ve now made additional changes to the MPG program since you last saved it. What if
you want to save these additions but you also want to keep the version as it was when you
last saved it? In other words, you want two versions of the program — one with the data
supplied by LET statements and one that requests the information with INPUT statements.
To save a copy of a program under a new name, use Save As in the File menu. Save this
version of your program with a name such as MPG2. The MPG program as you last saved
it is not changed or replaced.
Opening or Quitting without Saving
If you have edited a program and then attempt to Quit True BASIC without saving the program,
True BASIC asks if you want to save the file. You have three possible responses:
click Save
click Discard
click Cancel
to save the program (or replace a version with the same name)
and quit True BASIC
to quit True BASIC without saving your current program
to get back to the program, where you could then use Save As
if you wish to save under a new name
