Abstract:<br />

One <strong>of</strong> Spitzer’s major contributions to the study <strong>of</strong> galaxy formation and<br />

evolution has been the detection <strong>of</strong> large numbers <strong>of</strong> obscured AGN. Spitzer found<br />

a large number <strong>of</strong> bigger and bolometrically brighter versions <strong>of</strong> Seyfert 2’s,<br />

known as type 2 QSOs, whose existence had, until recently, only been theorized.<br />

Here, we propose to use IRS high resolution capabilities to perform a detailed<br />

analysis <strong>of</strong> the emission lines in a sample <strong>of</strong> six 0.3
