Javits Convention Center New York City World's Trade Fair June 9-11 The Merchandise Mart, Chicago Dear Friends: We have been supporting the very talented JR Hildebrand in his racing efforts the past year or so. He is now driving in the Indy Lights Series, one small step below Indy cars. So far this year has started off pretty well. He qualified 23rd for the first oval race and finished 10th, not all bad. Then a 5th and a 2nd in two road races. Then Sunday April 27, he qualified 4th at Kansas Speedway just outside KC, MO. I’ve been going to car races longer than I’ll ever admit. This was one of the most exciting races I’ve ever, ever seen! JR took the lead in a cool outside pass on about lap 20 (of 67) and with one small exception, held first place until the end. But it was not easy. He had cars all over him, dicing and slicing and trying to pass. But – no go. For a 20 year old in only his second oval race, JR was so cool and calm one would have thought he was a seasoned veteran. Yes, that cool.
