We’ve always had calls from people
wanting their own laminates showing
on a desk rather than our ugly
grommet. Fortunately, Mr. Smith
figured out how to do it, and do it right
with a simple three part system. It’s
easier to do than explain:
• First, glue laminate onto cap, then
put cap onto trim ring.
• Second, trim off excess laminate
with router, using trim ring as
guide. When done, remove trim ring.
• Third, drill 3" hole and glue in liner
at depth that places laminate cap
flush with desktop.

A chic and architectonic design that not
only looks great but is also fully functional.
The tapered cap features a pleasant
radius. It slides up to fit plugs and
wires, then down, but not fully closed.
It is always slightly raised above the
liner flange. Wires can be accessed a
full 270º.
Goes into a 2 ½" round hole.
Note: Cap is trapezoid-shaped,
3 5 /32" x 3 11 /32".
