DELTA DMD EXTENDED
VALIDATION PERIOD OF THE
CERTIFICATE
Validation period of the certificate
possessed by Delta DMD is extended
for one more year, considering the fact
that second control audit of the quality
management system according to the
requirements of standards ISO
9001:2008 and HACCP system
successfully carried out at the end of
June.
Audit was done by renowned
international certificate house TÜV
SÜD, and subject of the audit were
processes of realization of storage,
supplies, sales, marketing, HR and
quality system. Most compliments for
Delta DMD were for implementation
and analysis of the results of
examination of the satisfaction of
customers.
GPS IN VEHICLE PARK OF DELTA
DMD
In over 300 vehicles which
momentarily make vehicle park of
Delta DMD, installing of GPS devices is
in progress (Global Positioning
System), whereby it is possible to
determine location of vehicle in every
moment and monitoring of the position
of the vehicle on the map in real time.
Introducing this system will enable
higher efficiency of delivery, saving of
fuel consumption, increased safety of
drivers, goods and vehicles, increase
of productivity, monitoring work of
drivers, fast reacting and efficient
disposition of vehicles, more rational
planning of routes and opportunity of
re-direction of vehicles, as well as
subsequent analysis of finished tours,
solving of problems and disputes about
agreed deadlines of delivery and
reduction of maintenance costs.

Costa Coffee
Best Serbian
bar-tender
A
t the Costa Coffee Academy in New
Belgrade, selection for bar-tender of
the year was held at the end of July
at Costa Coffee. This year, there were 14 best
bar-tenders from all coffee-bars in Serbia.
Title of the best for the year of 2009 is
awarded to Dzafer Bajrami Dzo from the
Avenija 19 bar in New Belgrade.
This annual competition for the best bartender
in Serbia has been consisted of
practical and theoretical parts. Bar-tenders
laid an exam in making standards coffee,
and then they competed in preparation of
three other coffees (Cappuccino, Espresso
and Latte) and one randomly selected coffee.
Book promotion
I
n Costa Coffee bar on Terazije
square, on the 30th of July
promotion of the book written by
Sebastian Barry called Secret inscription was
held. Novel Secret Inscription has been
awarded with Costa Coffee literature award
which is in our country ascertained in 2008.
Appearance of that achievement in Serbia is
the result of mutual effort of Costa Coffee and
publishing company “Mono and Manjana” in
order to present book fans with the best
British and Irish literature achievements.
From August, novel Secret Inscription is
available in all Costa Coffee bars.
