for the children without parenting<br />

implementation Fund for the<br />
future program for professional<br />
orientation, in June third generation of<br />
scholars has graduated. At the press<br />
conference held in Children village “Dr<br />
Milorad Pavlovič” in Sremska Kamenica,<br />
Fund for the future was publicly presented,<br />
as well as achieved re<strong>su</strong>lts and plans for<br />
the upcoming period.<br />
„At the beginning of the program in 2006,<br />
we had 30 scholars from four foster homes<br />
in Belgrade. Today we have 60 scholarship<br />
holders, which include children from foetr<br />
home in Sremska Mitrovica, N<strong>is</strong> and 14<br />
children from foster families from city of<br />
Subotica. Since the beginning of the<br />
program, 120 children went through Fund<br />
for the future.<br />
<strong>In</strong> our company, twelve people are<br />
admitted in permanent employment, ten<br />
are employed in other branches, while 30<br />
attendants of the program continued<br />
education“, said Bojana R<strong>is</strong>tic, CSR<br />
Manager of <strong>Delta</strong> <strong>Holding</strong>.<br />
Fund for the future represents unique<br />
program which cares about children<br />
without parental custody. Beside regular<br />
scholarships, emphasize has been put<br />

onto socialization of children, their<br />
education for various jobs, as well as real<br />
life situations. Scholars of the Fund may<br />
get the job after graduation of appropriate<br />
education within <strong>Delta</strong>’s business system,<br />
thus it will solve one of the most delicate<br />
problems consolidating children without<br />
parenting, and that <strong>is</strong> the moment when<br />
they graduate secondary education and<br />
must leave the foster homes or foster<br />
families.<br />
„<strong>In</strong> <strong>Delta</strong>’s project Fund for the future we<br />
participate since 2006. Th<strong>is</strong> <strong>is</strong>, generally,<br />
unique project whose most important part<br />
<strong>is</strong> employment program thus it makes it<br />
recognizable and represents unique<br />
motivation for the future generations to<br />
attend“, said Vidoje Radulovic, deputy<br />
manager of Children village „Dr Milorad<br />
Pavlovic“.<br />
Besides regular lectures in professional<br />
training, scholarship holders had more<br />
than twenty v<strong>is</strong>its inside the <strong>Delta</strong> <strong>Holding</strong><br />
system, where they got information about<br />
that working place. For scholars, three<br />
<strong>su</strong>mmer camps were organized at the<br />
seaside in Bulgaria and Greece.<br />
Best confirmation of the validity and<br />
<strong>su</strong>ccess of program have been received by<br />
those who were dedicated to – scholars of<br />
Children village in Sremska Kamenica.<br />
„I was part of the Fund for the future for<br />
two years. For that time, I achieved better<br />
re<strong>su</strong>lts in school and got scholarships,<br />
<strong>su</strong>mmer vacations and, as the most<br />
important, I emphasize employment<br />
training, where we got all necessary<br />

According to the words of Ph D Marija Mitic from Association for alternative<br />
family children care Familia, that organization recognized Fund for the future as<br />
necessary access inn business sector in the <strong>su</strong>pport to youth without adequate<br />
parenting: „Considering the fact that we do not have systematic solution, th<strong>is</strong><br />
project <strong>is</strong> important and welcome, since it motivates responsibility, develops<br />
proactive approach at the attendants and enables better quality of life. Th<strong>is</strong> <strong>is</strong><br />
the best example to other companies thus it <strong>is</strong> important for the project to<br />
continue“.<br />

Recorded increase of the <strong>su</strong>ccess of<br />
scholars in relation to the period before<br />
entering program of the Fund for the<br />
future <strong>is</strong> 80%, while presence of scholars at<br />
lectures <strong>is</strong> between 75% and 80%. At the<br />
end of the training, scholars were provided<br />
with the certificate, as well as<br />
recommendations and opinions of<br />
lecturers.
