Krstović. "Cr<strong>is</strong><strong>is</strong> drastically reduced marketing budgets in<br />

classic media, while in web media it’s not the case. Online<br />

advert<strong>is</strong>ing continuously increasing, and according to the<br />

information from international organization ZenithOptimedia,<br />

internet in very next year will have share in advert<strong>is</strong>ement of<br />

13,8%."<br />

Situation <strong>is</strong> similar in the domain of public relations. Until<br />

now, it was estimated that first importance was given to the<br />

channels of corporative communications and marketing & PR,<br />

but in several few years, estimation <strong>is</strong> that first place will be<br />

reserved for online communications, then online public<br />

relations, personal communications, then printed and<br />

electronic media.<br />

With the new name, we would like to point out that Corporate<br />

Communications Department <strong>is</strong> coordinating and realizing<br />

n the Belville residential area in New Belgrade, final<br />

works are in progress after which larger part of 1.858<br />

Company Blok 67 Associates took over management of the<br />

complex from the organizers of the Universiade and begun<br />

final arrangements.<br />

By continuing action „School of knowledge“ organized in collaboration with RTS, <strong>Delta</strong><br />

Agrar in the middle of June enabled the group of agricultural manufacturers from<br />

Voivodina to introduce technology of growing cultivating cultures and contemporary pork<br />

manufactures at the property Napredak AD in Stara Pazova. They also v<strong>is</strong>ited pork farm<br />

on which re<strong>su</strong>lts are achieved as follows: number of alive pigs by the litter <strong>is</strong> 13,9 while<br />

average on the farms in Serbia <strong>is</strong> 10,5; number of fatlings by swine annually <strong>is</strong> 26,5 in<br />

relation to domestic average of 17,2; average age of fatlings during deliver <strong>is</strong> 165 days,<br />

while on other domestic farms its 192.<br />

more than five million Euros.<br />

AVERAGE OUTTURN OF WHEAT - 6,5 TONS BY HECTARE <strong>Delta</strong> Agrar has<br />

<strong>su</strong>ccessfully fin<strong>is</strong>hed wheat harvest on its agricultural lands, in the area of<br />

approximately 4.000 hectares. Except treatment with herbicides, in <strong>Delta</strong> Agrar<br />

compulsory part of the wheat production technology <strong>is</strong> also treatment with<br />

fungicides, which contributed in achieving average outturn of 6,5 t by hectare of JUS<br />

quality even in th<strong>is</strong> year, which was not appropriate for wheat. Mostly used sorts were<br />

Novi Sad and Austrian sorts Balaton, which re<strong>su</strong>lted in outturn of 8,14 t/ha, which <strong>is</strong><br />

for 20 to 23% more in relation to domestic sorts.

<strong>Delta</strong> Agrar since 2006, keeps modernizing the<br />

production by purchasing one of the most<br />

soph<strong>is</strong>ticated mills in Europe.<br />

„New mill <strong>is</strong><br />

completely<br />

computerized. Even<br />

if it occupies seven<br />

floors, complete<br />

power-plant <strong>is</strong><br />

comfortably<br />

managed by only one<br />

operator. One of the<br />

advantages of the<br />

mill <strong>is</strong> extremely<br />

high level of sanitary<br />

protection during the<br />

processing of wheat.<br />

<strong>In</strong> the next year, we<br />

plan to process<br />

100.000 tons of wheat<br />

in that mill“, said<br />

Danubius, Milorad Sredanovic during conversation with<br />

journal<strong>is</strong>ts who have v<strong>is</strong>ited the factory in mid June.<br />

Mill, made by the Sw<strong>is</strong>s manufacturer Buhler, with the<br />

processing capacity of 300 tons of wheat per day, represents<br />

one of the most advanced technological solutions in th<strong>is</strong><br />

domain. Thus it may be said that its installation in Danubius<br />

represents a milestone in the development of the mill industry<br />

in Voivodina and Serbia. The investment into the new plant <strong>is</strong><br />

worth 4,5 million Euros.<br />

„All working <strong>su</strong>rfaces which come into contact with wheat i.e.<br />

products, are made of stainless steel or of special coatings.<br />

Final products before leaving the mill pass throughout socalled<br />

sterilizers, machines which completely eliminate<br />

possible presence of larvae’s and insects. System which <strong>is</strong><br />

cons<strong>is</strong>ted of 20 cameras controls literally each grain and<br />

eliminates all dirt, like stones and dust, which can be found in<br />

repurchased, i.e. stored wheat. Due to above mentioned<br />

character<strong>is</strong>tics of the mill, consequence <strong>is</strong> that the wheat flour<br />

which comes from Danubius complies with the highest world<br />

standards in th<strong>is</strong> area“, emphasized Sredanović.<br />

Furthermore, the Buhler’s mill represents one step further in<br />

preservation of the natural environment. All used quantities of<br />

<strong>Delta</strong> invested 6,000.000 euros<br />

By investing into the most recent Buhler’s mill,<br />

company Danubius with the tradition since<br />

1918, confirmed its intention to keep the leading<br />

position in the region within industry of flour<br />

and paste food. <strong>Delta</strong> invested in th<strong>is</strong> company<br />

more then six million euros, which together with<br />

achieved standards HACCP and ISO 9001:2000<br />

guarantees the highest quality of the products to<br />

the customers as well as sanitary correctness of<br />

the food which comes from Danubius.<br />

With the installation of th<strong>is</strong> new mill, the utilization of raw<br />

material went up by 5% compared by the old power plant. Mill<br />

also enables manufacture of new, specialized sorts of flour,<br />

used in bakery and confectionery industry.<br />

„Until the end of the year we will acquire the device which will<br />

be used for mixing of the various sorts of flours and additives,<br />

worth 550.000 Euros. We also plan to purchase two new lines<br />

for manufacturing of pasta which cost 5,000.000 Euros, and<br />

power plant for shipping, and cost <strong>is</strong> 1,500.000 Euros“, said the<br />

General Manager of Danubius.<br />

the same period last year, while in the<br />

countries of the region in which <strong>Delta</strong><br />

operates turnover <strong>is</strong> higher for 20% in<br />

relation to same period last year and it <strong>is</strong><br />

194,6 million euros. Sales shops from our<br />

market chain in Serbia and countries in<br />

Group opened 17 new sales stores, 12 in<br />

Serbia and five in the region. Until the end<br />

will be increased for 20 stores more, 12<br />

in Serbia and eight in the region. <strong>In</strong> new<br />

stores 1.300 workers will be employed, thus<br />

until the end of 2009, number of employees<br />

growth of sales by groups of 13%. <strong>In</strong> the<br />

sales structure, the biggest part of<br />

product groups note growth in relation<br />

to last year, while decrease <strong>is</strong> recorded<br />

only in sales of electronics and textile.<br />

Colony Street. Supermarket has been opened on 18th June by Čačak city mayor<br />

On recently held Universiade 2009 in<br />

t the Costa Coffee Academy in New<br />

Belgrade, selection for bar-tender of<br />

the year was held at the end of July<br />

at Costa Coffee. Th<strong>is</strong> year, there were 14 best<br />

bar-tenders from all coffee-bars in Serbia.<br />

Title of the best for the year of 2009 <strong>is</strong><br />

awarded to Dzafer Bajrami Dzo from the<br />

Avenija 19 bar in New Belgrade.<br />

Th<strong>is</strong> annual competition for the best bartender<br />

practical and theoretical parts. Bar-tenders<br />

scholars has graduated. At the press<br />

are employed in other branches, while 30<br />

attendants of the program continued<br />

scholarships, emphasize has been put<br />

onto socialization of children, their<br />

education for various jobs, as well as real<br />

life situations. Scholars of the Fund may<br />

get the job after graduation of appropriate<br />

education within <strong>Delta</strong>’s business system,<br />

thus it will solve one of the most delicate<br />

problems consolidating children without<br />

parenting, and that <strong>is</strong> the moment when<br />

they graduate secondary education and<br />

must leave the foster homes or foster<br />

families.<br />

„<strong>In</strong> <strong>Delta</strong>’s project Fund for the future we<br />

participate since 2006. Th<strong>is</strong> <strong>is</strong>, generally,<br />

unique project whose most important part<br />

<strong>is</strong> employment program thus it makes it<br />

recognizable and represents unique<br />

motivation for the future generations to<br />

attend“, said Vidoje Radulovic, deputy<br />

manager of Children village „Dr Milorad<br />

Pavlovic“.<br />

Besides regular lectures in professional<br />

training, scholarship holders had more<br />

than twenty v<strong>is</strong>its inside the <strong>Delta</strong> <strong>Holding</strong><br />

system, where they got information about<br />

that working place. For scholars, three<br />

<strong>su</strong>mmer camps were organized at the<br />

seaside in Bulgaria and Greece.<br />

Best confirmation of the validity and<br />

<strong>su</strong>ccess of program have been received by<br />

those who were dedicated to – scholars of<br />

Children village in Sremska Kamenica.<br />

ummer in <strong>Delta</strong> City was marked by street basket<br />

tournament called „City Basket 3 to 3“. On specially<br />

installed courts on the plateau in front of „<strong>Delta</strong> City“,<br />

64 teams competed with more than 250 basketball players.<br />

Fashion events in <strong>Delta</strong> City shopping mall were marked by<br />

presentation of final<strong>is</strong>ts from the M<strong>is</strong>s selection of Elite Model<br />

Look 2009.<br />

Since September, <strong>Delta</strong> City organizes ample fall<br />

entertainment and educational program. Towards school year,<br />

in specially prepared classroom, we dedicated our attention to<br />

the pupils and parents and their creativity. Action lasts from<br />

31st August to 6th September under name City school. It was<br />

conceived as creative workshop with two animators which<br />

every day from 17 to 20h motivated children creativity. Since<br />

7th till 13th September in central atrium of <strong>Delta</strong> City, within<br />

<strong>In</strong>ternational humanitarian cultural-entertainment<br />

manifestation Slavic Beauty, exhibition of Slovakian painter<br />

Zuzana Veresky will be held. Exhibition will be open on 7th<br />

September in 18h. 19th September <strong>is</strong> reserved for the<br />

competition in standard and Latin-American dances.<br />

Competition will last from 18.30 to 21h. 18 pairs will<br />

participate, best of them will be awarded, and all of them will<br />

be able to enjoy the show of Mambo Stars.<br />

Since 20th to 28th September in round atrium of <strong>Delta</strong> City,<br />

traditional fall Flower fair will be held. For all v<strong>is</strong>itors of the<br />

fair d<strong>is</strong>count of 10% <strong>is</strong> provided.<br />

My MiTo story<br />

s the part of the promotion of the model Alfa Romeo<br />

MiTo, <strong>Delta</strong> Auto-moto has organized the competition<br />

in which all v<strong>is</strong>itors of the <strong>Delta</strong> City Shopping Mall<br />

and the web site www.alfaromeo.rs could participate.<br />

By means the idea was to create the story in which Alfa MiTo<br />

will be ’top star’. <strong>In</strong> the course of the competition which lasted<br />

from 20th to 15th July, more then 400 stories have been made.<br />

Competition revived huge interest, and participants d<strong>is</strong>played<br />

MiTo in a creative way, in various situations, amusing songs<br />

have been written about him as well...<br />
