Launching internet in<strong>su</strong>rance shop, first in Serbia, <strong>is</strong> recognized by experts as one of the most<br />
<strong>su</strong>ccessful projects, which contributes development of e-business. For th<strong>is</strong> initiative, the Company<br />
was awarded with E-market Award in April 2008.<br />
Recent re<strong>su</strong>lts d<strong>is</strong>play that in Serbia there <strong>is</strong> interest for <strong>su</strong>ch contemporary shopping. For only<br />
seven months the number of concluded policies of traveler’s health in<strong>su</strong>rance <strong>is</strong> increased for 36%<br />
compared to last year. <strong>In</strong> total more than 400 policies were sold in the last year and trend of<br />
growth <strong>is</strong> recorded from month to month. Hereupon, for next year it <strong>is</strong> planned to extend the l<strong>is</strong>t<br />
of products which may be ordered via web shop for two new services: help on the road and<br />
individual in<strong>su</strong>rance against accident consequences.<br />

"<strong>In</strong> hotel industry, room booking over internet <strong>is</strong> very popular",<br />
emphasizes Bojan Mihajlovic, person in charge of internet<br />
sales and marketing in Continental Hotel Belgrade. "Stat<strong>is</strong>tics<br />
say that more then 80% of population make booking of hotel<br />
services over the web. It <strong>is</strong> particularly related to foreigners,<br />
who make great majority of our guests."<br />
Our hotel now <strong>is</strong> present on internet market as ecommerce<br />
website. Even in August th<strong>is</strong> year over internet sales (on<br />
address www.continentalhotelbeograd.com, we realized 35%<br />
of total profit from rooms. <strong>In</strong> the hotel industry in Serbia,<br />
electronic business represents the future and main profit<br />
resource, says Mihajlović.<br />

information from international organization ZenithOptimedia,<br />
internet in very next year will have share in advert<strong>is</strong>ement of<br />
13,8%."<br />
Situation <strong>is</strong> similar in the domain of public relations. Until<br />
now, it was estimated that first importance was given to the<br />
channels of corporative communications and marketing & PR,<br />
but in several few years, estimation <strong>is</strong> that first place will be<br />
reserved for online communications, then online public<br />
relations, personal communications, then printed and<br />
electronic media.<br />
With the new name, we would like to point out that Corporate<br />
Communications Department <strong>is</strong> coordinating and realizing<br />
communications as umbrella for the whole system and towards<br />
all target groups. Within th<strong>is</strong> communication department are<br />
PR, marketing and CSR. The objective of integrated<br />
communications <strong>is</strong> creating and preserving unique style of<br />
communications, adequate to the corporate culture of <strong>Delta</strong><br />
<strong>Holding</strong>.
