PHI PHASE EDUCATION
PHI PHASE CALENDAR
You have a big job ahead of you; to help, here are some resources:
SCHEDULE CONSISTENT PRESENTATIONS
Schedule large group presentations to occur on the same day each month (e.g., first
Wednesday). Be strategic when choosing your day of the week for the year. Think about
chapter meetings, Interfraternity Council meetings, other campus programs, etc.
HOLD A MONTHLY MEETING
While the Phi Phase is primarily a self-directed experience, you are expected to hold a
monthly meeting regularly. It doesn’t have to be long, simply serving as a formal transition
between themes--finalizing the concluding theme as you introduce the Large Group
Presentation.
A sample calendar has been provided that would allow you and future Alumni Directors to
stay on track and offer large group presentations for each of the six themes in a pattern that
complements the academic year. You should ideally schedule one large group presentation
per month and encourage members to complete individual activities on their own, then
hold a monthly round-table meeting to gather Individual Activity completion from brothers.
Recommended topics for Large Group Presentations, as well as some potential ideas for
individual activies, have been provided for each theme.
