Doors opened at 6:00 and each
couple signed in and received a number
to know what time their pictures would
be taken. The theme was “Until the End
of Time,” with the song by Justin
Timberlake. The ballroom was filled
with blue and silver decorations along
with many clocks and each dinner table
had a beautiful vase of roses on it.
Dinner was served at 7:15 and everyone
seemed to enjoy the variety of tasty food:

hours, Principal Greg Brown asked the
teenagers to take a seat to recognize the seniors. Then the prom court was finally announced.

Ceritano won prince and princess while
Seniors Ben Mullins and Astleigh Hobbs
received the title of king and queen. “The
entire night was awesome and it made my
junior prom to get princess,” quoted
Gelsina. After the court and their dates
shared a dance, everyone else joined in
until shortly later the dance come to an
end. As students walked out they were
given mugs and glasses and the star the
couple’s names were on.
Students then traveled back to the
Pearisburg Community Center (K.J.) for a
“morning” of fun and games. Some
activities included ping-pong, playing the
Wii and Guitar Hero, bouncing on blow up
games, cards, rock climbing, air brushed

tattoos and singing karaoke. The theme of After Prom was college tailgating so there was a lot of
wonderful food and the halls were decorated with different college logos. Finally at around 5
A.M., the big prizes were given away and students traveled back home. Prom was over but the
experience and memories will never be forgotten.
