Day 3: San Diego<br />
Spend the morning at Coronado Island and Balboa<br />
Park before the afternoon is yours for the exploring.<br />
Spend the evening on Mission Beach or hop in the<br />

Day 4: Phoenix<br />
Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, the largest mass of<br />
sand dunes in California. In the evening, get rowdy in<br />
downtown Phoenix in a real cowboy bar. (B, L)<br />
Day 5: Grand Canyon<br />
Start the day with a visit to Montezuma Castle and<br />
Oak Creek Canyon. After lunch in Red Rock State<br />
Park, you’ll arrive at the grandest of landmarks – the<br />

Day 6: Grand Canyon National park<br />
Today is all about conquering this spectacular beast!<br />
Wander along the trails and climb boulders for<br />
different views. After lunch, get a bird’s eye view of<br />
the canyon with an optional helicopter flight. (B, L, D)<br />
Day 7: Las Vegas<br />
Drive along famous Route 66 and stop at the Snow<br />
Cap-Drive In, one of the wackiest burger joints<br />
around. Explore the famous Vegas Strip or if you’re<br />
feeling flush, opt for a VIP limo experience. (B, L)<br />

Day 8: Las Vegas<br />
Try your luck at the tables, relax poolside or if your<br />

Day 9: Death Valley National park/Bishop<br />
Visit the hottest, driest and lowest point in North<br />
America: Death Valley. In the evening, soak in<br />

Day 10-11: Yosemite National park<br />
Visit the ancient Mono Lake and marvel at<br />
spectacular views of Yosemite National Park’s<br />
magnificent peaks and granite domes. Take short<br />
hikes to majestic waterfalls, clear lakes and vast<br />
meadows. You may be lucky enough to spot black<br />

Day 12: San Francisco<br />
Today you’ll tick off all of San Fran’s landmarks.<br />
Fisherman’s Wharf? Check. Golden Gate Bridge?<br />
Check. Take an optional cable car ride over the steep<br />

Day 13: San Simeon<br />
Drive down the California coast to historic Monterey,<br />
where you’ll be awestruck by the mountain ranges of<br />
Big Sur and explore Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.<br />

Day 14: Santa Barbara/Los Angeles<br />
Visit the wacky Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo and<br />
relax in Santa Barbara, before finishing in LA. Spend<br />
your last night chilling at Santa Monica and Venice<br />
