The self timer is automatically switched off in thefollowing situations:• When shooting ends• When you switch to “|” or “W” mode• When you change the Mode switch setting• When the camera is switched off.●! You can also use the AF/AE lock (➡P.27).●! Be careful not to stand in front of the camera whenyou press the shutter button as this can causefocusing or exposure metering errors.Bebeep02 Beep 031 Position the AF frame over your subject.2 Press the shutter button down half way to setthe focus.3 Without releasing the shutter button, press itdown fully.
