owled overGleneagles Penang team celebrating their sensational win!Pantai hospitals in the northern region and Gleneagles Penang strike a happy notewith their first-ever inter-hospital bowling tournament.A total of 20 teams from Pantai Hospital Penang (PHP),Pantai Hospital Ipoh (PHI), Pantai Hospital Sungai Petaniand Gleneagles Penang competed for top honours at thefirst Northern Region Inter-Hospital Bowling Tournamentheld on 9 March 2013 in Penang.After rounds of intense competition, the Gleneagles Penangteam comprising Ivan Loh, K Parameshwaran, Ferlicia Chinand Siti Noorainie clinched the championship trophy with acombined pinfall of 488. PHI bagged the first and secondrunner-up trophies with scores of 471 and 464 pinfallsrespectively. PHP was placed fourth with 408 pinfalls.In addition, prizes were also awarded to the top male andfemale bowlers.Ronald Koh, Northern Region Chief Executive Officer, whowas present to lend his support, was impressed with theplayers’ sportsmanship and team spirit.Indeed, the players, some of whom had never toucheda bowling ball in their lives, demonstrated determinationand drive as they went all out to improve the ranking oftheir teams.After a rolling good time on the lanes, the participantsand guests adjourned for their hard-earned buffet dinner.Congratulations to all the winners.En Route 35
