51WORK READINESS PROGRAMThe program is designed to assist nationals with varied educational achievementsto secure job opportunities, primarily with the private sector. This 2 years programprovides training in basic skills in the subjects of English, Arabic, Computers,Mathematics and Workplace Skills. There is also a work experience component inreal work environments thereby providing opportunities for students to apply theirskills and adapt to the real world of employment. It equips participating nationals withthe necessary skills to enter the job market and provide opportunities to build theirfuture careers. Increasingly, those companies accepting students for work placementhave provided students with full time employment opportunities upon completion ofthe program.
