The threaded adjusterof the Quickee screws into the pushrod until the threads disengage, and the adjustersimply slides into the pushrod making the pushrod short enough so that installationor removal is a snap. Once the pushrod is installed and adjusted, the locknut preventsthe adjuster from moving. Early style collapsible pushrod covers must be used to allowaccess to the pushrod adjusters. Cutting the stock pushrods and pushrod tubes with abolt cutter eliminates the need to remove rocker covers to install Quickee Adjustablepushrods.
