To approve basic schedule of rates 1.Chief Engineer Full powers2. Addl. Chief Engineer - do -Note: - subject to immediate report to theFA & CAO of the RHB (in case of nonallotmentof budget) intimating theapproximate amount involved explainingthe circumstances. and to stop work if thesanction is refused by the Chairman,RHB.Note:- These powers will be exercised bythe chief Engineer / Addl. Chief Engineeronly or the detailed recommendation of aTask Force in which FA/ CAO willinvariably be member .The Task Forcewill standardize various analysis of ratesof components and determine districtwiserates on the basis of data/ratesfurnished by the Divisional officers orotherwise. The Task Force will determinethe periodicity of revision of B.S.R.27. To sanction execution and payment for 1.Works Committee Full powers.extra and/ or additional items existingin approved schedule of rates as per 2.Chief Engineer Full powers upto 20% if 'G' Scheduleconditions on contract.Amount of the work or Rs. 20.00 lacsWhichever is less.3.
