Mother’s Corner <strong>November</strong><br />

irst <strong>of</strong> all, I would like to thank everyone who<br />
stepped up to the task and volunteered to be on this<br />
year’s committee. Through some extensive search and<br />
advertising, we have been able to fill all, but one open<br />
position. However, at this point (I am writing this the<br />
middle <strong>of</strong> September) I am still looking for someone to cochair<br />
Mother’s Corner with me. Anyone interested to<br />
find out more, please contact me.<br />
Aside from our “regular” events, we have two major<br />
happenings this month. We are looking for volunteers to<br />
help out at the Fall Bazaar on <strong>November</strong> 11 and the<br />
Christmas Party on <strong>November</strong> 25. Anyone interested in<br />
helping out at the Fall Bazaar, please contact Kathleen<br />

A warm, indoor, interpretation <strong>of</strong> the traditional German<br />
candlelit procession is sure to impress all who attend. An<br />
indoor campfire, fairy lights, and songs will set the scene<br />
for the children and their lanterns. Glühwein will set the<br />
tone for the adults. <strong>The</strong>re will be a craft table to make<br />
lanterns, but if you can, do please bring your own light<br />
sticks (Laternenstange mit Glühbirne) - you can get them<br />
from Schlecker (or at many other places) at the end <strong>of</strong><br />
October / beginning <strong>of</strong> <strong>November</strong>.<br />

swimming pool is located in the Nordwestzentrum - a<br />
big shopping area where we can go for a c<strong>of</strong>fee<br />
afterwards. <strong>The</strong> shopping center has underground<br />
parking.<br />
