Basel Fasnacht (Switzerland) NEW!!
Feb. 25-26 (can be organised for one day only,

This is a special two day trip to the renowned Basel
Fasnacht and the 'great fires'. The itinerary
includes four different parades such as "The
Witches and Clowns Parade", "The Burning of the
Brumes Parade", "The Army of the Night Parade",
and the Basel Fasnacht Parade. Accommodation
will be in a 5-star hotel with half board (breakfast
and lunch). The hotel has an indoor pool.

and a bus round trip from Malaga to the
picturesque Andalusian cities of Granada,
Cordoba, Seville, and Marbella. Guided
sightseeing tours will be offered in Granada,
Cordoba, Seville, and Ronda. At night we will have
time to watch the "Semana Santa" procession in
each city. Accommodation will be with half board
(breakfast and dinner). The last three days you will
stay at a 4-star hotel close to Marbella and the
beach at the Costa del Sol.

This bus round trip will bring you from Frankfurt for
two nights each to Lake Garda, Rome, Tuscany,
and the Italian Riviera. After a boat ride on Lake
Garda, you will visit in Verona among other things
the Amphitheatre, the old town with its palaces,
and the house of Romeo and Julia. In Rome you
will have guided tours of the Vatican, St. Peter, the
Coliseum, the Forum Romano, the old town, the
Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. On your
way to Pompeii, a city covered up by the ashes of
the volcano, Vesuvius, you will pass by Naples
and the Mediterranean Sea with its many islands.
In Orvieto (an Etruscan stronghold and a Papal
city), in Florence (the Medici city of art), and in the
fortified city of Lucca you will have time to explore
its many palaces and churches next to shopping
opportunities for pottery, leather, and silver goods.
The leaning tower of Pisa on the "Sacred Meadow"
and a boat ride to the famous peninsula of
Portofino will top off your Italian experience. There

tough. Especially in a foreign country! Do you
know someone who babysits? Let us know!
The AWCT is putting together a new
‘Babysitters Directory’ for all those moms and
dads out there who need someone to look
after the little ones. This list will be updated
and published each month in the Newsletter.
Email as much info as possible to,
julie@enetok.net, so we can make our
directory as informational as possible. Name,
age, town, phone number, days/times
available, times not available, how long
you’ve been caring for kids, do you drive,
hourly rate, languages spoken, CPR certified,
etc.
