S. Geological Survey on Phi II ippi Creek. Thereare no stream flow records for the creeks studied in this report.The stream gage located on Phi I I ippi Creek has been in existencesince 1960. Residents along the streams in the study area wereinterviewed and newspaper fi les and historical documents weresearched for information concerning past floods. Informationfrom those sources was meager. However, the Phi I I ippi CreekSurvey Report provided information on flooding in the SarasotaCounty area.II
