Report on Corporate Governance (contd.)SHARE TRANSFER SYSTEMAll matters pertaining to Share Transfer are being handled by Alpha Systems Private Limited, the Registrar and Share TransferAgent of the Company. The Share Transfer requests received are processed by them and a Memorandum of Transfer is sentto the Company for approval by the Committee. The average time taken for processing Share Transfer requests includingdespatch of Share Certificates is 15 days, while it takes a minimum of 10-12 days for processing dematerialization requests.The Company regularly monitors and supervises the functioning of the system so as to ensure that there are no delays or lapsesin the system.The Company was offering the facility of transfer-cum-demat as per SEBI Guidelines. However, SEBI has vide its Circular No.SEBI/MRD/Cir-10/2004 dated February 10, 2004, withdrawn transfer-cum-demat scheme.
