Concise Report to MembersThe Australian Rail, Tram & Bus Industry Union, New South Wales BranchCOMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT STATEMENTOn 21 May, 2009 the Committee of Management of the Australian Rail Tram & Bus Industry Union, New South WalesBranch passed the following resolution in relation to the general purpose financial report (GPFR) of the reporting unitfor the financial year ended 31st December, 2008:(a)(b)(c)(d)(e)the financial statements and notes comply with the Australian Accounting Standards;the financial statements and notes comply with the reporting guidelines of the Industrial Registrar;the financial statements and notes give a fair view of the financial performance, financial position and cashflows of the reporting unit for the financial year to which they relate;there are reasonable grounds to believe that the reporting unit will be able to pay its debts as and when theybecome due and payable; andduring the financial year to which the GPFR relates and since the end of that year:(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)(v)(vi)meetings of the committee of management were held in accordance with the rules of the organisationincluding the rules of a branch concerned; andthe financial affairs of the reporting unit have been managed in accordance with the rules of theorganisation including the rules of the branch concerned; andthe financial records of the reporting unit have been kept and maintained in accordance with the RAOSchedule and the RAO Regulations; andthe financial records of the reporting unit have been kept, as far as practicable, in a consistent mannerto each of the other reporting units of the organisation; andno further information has been sought in any request of a member of the reporting unit or a Registrarduly made under section 272 of the RAO Schedule; andno order for inspection of financial records have been made by the Commission under section 273 ofthe RAO Schedule.(f)The Branch has not derived any revenue during the year as a result of any recovery of wages activity it mayhave undertaken on behalf of members.Signed 21 May, 2009 by Nick Lewocki in accordance with such resolution as is passed by the committee ofmanagement.RAIL & ROAD June 2009 Page 31
