JS faculty have servedon a variety <strong>of</strong> subcommittees within these organizations, such as LSA’s Dissertation PrizeCommittee, Book Prize Committee, Development Committee, and Summer Institute Committeeand NCJFCJ’s Advisory Committee on Custody and Domestic Violence. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Lee is on theMolecular Biology Specialty Exam Panel <strong>of</strong> the American Board <strong>of</strong> Criminalistics. Pr<strong>of</strong>essorLucas served as CULJP Treasurer and is currently CULJP President. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Lynch hasserved as a trustee <strong>of</strong> LSA, was associate chair on the Program Committee for LSA’s annualmeeting in Berlin, Germany, in 2007, was one <strong>of</strong> the faculty at LSA’s Summer Institute in 2003,served on the program committee for the 2001 Miami meeting, and served on the CULJP Board<strong>of</strong> Directors. She has also served as chair <strong>of</strong> the LSA Committee for Development and ExternalRelations for two terms, and as chair <strong>of</strong> the LSA Summer Institute Committee for two terms.Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Perry was the ASC’s 2001 Program Division Chair on Globalization and serves on theAdvisory Board <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> California Atlas <strong>of</strong> Global Inequality. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Timmonswas the Curator <strong>of</strong> the library exhibit La Última Pena: Five Centuries <strong>of</strong> Capital Punishment inMexico at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Texas, Austin and organized the International Symposium, TheDeath Penalty and Mexico-U.S. Relations: Historical Continuities, Present Dilemmas at the<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Texas, Austin.In regard to scholarly publications, Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Lynch is the Book Review Editor and a co-editorfor the peer-reviewed, international journal Punishment and Society. She previously served onthe editorial boards <strong>of</strong> Law and Social Inquiry, Law and Society Review, and <strong>Justice</strong> PolicyJournal. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Johnston is Associate Editor <strong>of</strong> the peer-reviewed journal Family CourtReview and served as guest editor for the Family Court Review. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Timmons served asguest co-editor <strong>of</strong> Radical History Review. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Lucas serves on the Editorial Board for anew peer-reviewed international journal currently in development, the International Journal <strong>of</strong>Prostitution and Sex Work Research.JS faculty have served as ad hoc peer reviewers for myriad scholarly publications, includingjournals American Anthropologist; American Indian Quarterly; Contexts; Criminal <strong>Justice</strong>Review; Criminology; Cultural Critique; Family Court Review; Journal <strong>of</strong> Child Custody; Lawand Policy; Journal <strong>of</strong> Race, Gender and Class; Journal <strong>of</strong> Research in Crime and Delinquency;Law and Human Behavior; Law and Social Inquiry; Law and Society Review; Political andLegal Anthropology Review; Punishment and Society; Radical History Review; Social <strong>Justice</strong>Research; Social Problems; Sociological Perspectives; <strong>Studies</strong> in Law, Politics, and Society;Theoretical Criminology and book publishers Allyn & Bacon, Prentice Hall, Roxbury, Sage,Thomson, <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> North Carolina Press, Wadsworth, and Worth.
