Pre-war Prescott!Saturday 16 th July 2011Having run three highly successful and enjoyable Prescott GardenParties for the Vintage Minor Register over the last five years,Ian Grace is delighted to invite the Triple-M Register to participatein the inaugural Pre-war Prescott Garden Party. This exciting newannual event will be open to all Edwardian, Vintage and thirties carsand fills a gap in the annual schedule of events held at this famoushillclimb.This new annual event will take place on Saturday 16th July,thereby affording VSCC Prescott competitors an ideal opportunityto practice for their August meet, without the formality of a competitiveevent. No flame-proof overalls, helmets or racing licenses willbe required. Passengers may be carried, and saloons are equallywelcome to join in the fun.The day will be characterised by a relaxed garden party atmosphere,and will include untimed climbs of the hill throughout the day.The day will include trade stands, autojumble stands etc.An event website will shortly be launched atwww.prewarprescott.com, and online entries will be possible, withfurther updates as plans progress; but for now he would like to askyou to add the day to your calendar of events for 2011. 39 th AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix at Nurburgring12 th -14 th AugustWe have ben invited to the German Nurburgring meeting,catering for cars from 1920s up to 1947.
