TRIPLE-M REGISTERBULLETIN No. <strong>60</strong>April 2011I hope all your cars are <strong>no</strong>w ready to celebrate the 50 years of the<strong>Triple</strong>-M <strong>Register</strong>, and you are looking forward to entering all the lovelyenticing events we have planned for you. <strong>The</strong> foremost of these ofcourse is the Anniversary celebrations running from Tuesday 21 st toThursday 23 rd June. If you haven’t requested the rally package fromElizabeth Taylor yet, you need to give her a ring, or e-mail her, and shewill send you the very comprehensive documents, which tell you all youneed to k<strong>no</strong>w about the three days, starting with Gaydon, followed bya day at Shelsley Walsh, and then the option of many places to visit onthe last day. For fuller details refer to the last <strong>Bulletin</strong>.Celebrational rally plaques are going to be available for people towear throughout the year – those being issued for the Anniversarycelebrations will be numbered, but un-numbered plaques will be availableat MG Live.Also as part of our 50 th Anniversary celebrations, we are to be theinvited marque at the Brooklands Society Reunion on the 24 th July.<strong>The</strong>y have been trying to get us there for many years, but it has clashedwith our own events. We are trying to get a good tur<strong>no</strong>ut of our cars,together with as many Brooklands cars as possible. We are also tryingto get as many of the Evans family cars together as a special display.<strong>The</strong> Chairman’s popular Summer Gathering will be on July 31 st , andentry forms will be in the next <strong>Bulletin</strong>. This is always a popular day out,with a good lunchtime barbeque, as well as some driving and <strong>no</strong>ndrivingtests.August 14 th sees Patrick Gardner’s Black Horse drivingtests/gymkhana on the Pepperharrow estate, just a few miles south ofGuildford, where a relaxed day starts of with your picnic lunch.
