Year 8Miss L Jenkins and Mr G PennyThere have been numerous interesting andexciting events involving <strong>the</strong> year group sinceChristmas. Pupils have been participating in <strong>the</strong>canoeing club, where <strong>the</strong>y have received expertinstruction at Cardiff International White WaterCentre. A highlight has been <strong>the</strong> Year 8/9production <strong>of</strong> ‘High <strong>School</strong> Musical’ with itsmany rehearsals and three evening performances.The annual Eisteddfod was very successful withpupils showcasing <strong>the</strong>ir talents on stage and inhomework competitions; well done <strong>to</strong> all thoseinvolved. All pupils have made mature decisionsthis year regarding <strong>the</strong>ir GCSE subject choicesready <strong>to</strong> begin in Year 9.
