She was introduced to booksand letterpress by Barb Tetenbaum at OCAC in the 90’s andtaught a letterpress extension class in 2000. Macy receivedan MFA in Book Arts and Printmaking from The Universityof the Arts in Philadelphia and assisted book artist Julie Chenat Flying Fish Press in Berkeley for three years. She currentlycreates books and prints in her letterpress studio in Oaklandand teaches classes at Academy of Art University in SanFrancisco, San Francisco Art Institute and San FranciscoCenter for the Book.
