SCM PRIMA-G GETS EVERYBODY
talking in abU dhabi
Scomi’s first ever shaker ‘SCM Prima-G’
made a big impression on visitors at the Abu
Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition &
Conference (ADIPEC) 2010 from 1-4 November.
The SCM Prima-G is a four-panel linear motion
shale shaker that has high G force (7.3) motors,
where the centre of the bolts is directly over
the basket wall centre line ensuring that
vibration and motion are transmitted to
the basket evenly resulting in uniformed G
force throughout the basket and increased
stability. Other benefits are its easy and fast
screen installation procedure and the durable
polyurethane cross and side supports which
click into place with no bolts or rivets.
Among the customers who visited our booth
was Drilling Fluids Manager, Phil Green of
Occidental, Middle East who commented, “It
is satisfying to see that Scomi has developed

CHINA National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), one of the largest
National Oil Companies in China recently awarded Scomi Oiltools,
Indonesia the Contractor Town Hall Award 2010. Scomi provides
customised Drilling Waste Management (DWM) Solutions to CNOOC.
This award acknowledges Scomi’s contribution towards meeting
CNOOC’s Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Performance Standard.
The criteria for the award were good safe practices by engineers,
Zero Lost Time Incidents and the extent of implementation of
CNOOC’s HSE standards.

Fouad Silin, Drilling Team Leader of the
National Drilling Company meanwhile said,
“The shaker is very simple to use and has
good operational performance with its
non-blanked screen area of 22.24 sq.ft.” Our
wedge blocks are only ½” shorter than the
width of the screen which eliminates any
screen flutter.
