TIL TALKPartnership For The Next LevelNMHG Delegates visit TILThe visit of a high level team from NACCO MaterialsHandling Group [NMHG], Holland to TIL’s new facilityin Kharagpur on 1st April was a significant occasion forTIL’s MHS Division. In a three day visit, the NMHG team –Mr. Ian Robertson, Director Supply Chain, Mr. Trevor Corkin,Senior Commodity Buyer, and Mr. Rahul Bhandarwar,Manager Supply Quality, NMHG India engaged in a detailedreview with TIL on the critical areas of manufacture ofHyster Reachstackers. Representing TIL were Mr. PinakiNiyogy, Associate VP-Manufacturing, Kamarhatty andMr. Ranjit Sarkar, SR. General Manager-Manufacturing,Kharagpur and other senior TIL officials.Hyster is a leading provider of forklift trucks and one ofthe best known names in the industry. The Hyster brand,globally reputed in the Reachstacker segment is a partof NMHG. India being one of the fastest growing marketsacross the globe, Hyster entered into a strategic alliancewith TIL wherein the Hyster range of Reachstackers aremanufactured in India by TIL.The purpose of the visit by the NMHG team was to review,evaluate and set down the action agenda on the critical andspecific elements of manufacture of Hyster-TIL brandedReachstackers. The objective was also to consolidate andstrengthen the partnership of NMHG and TIL further andtake it to higher level of excellence.
