Silka-fix is supplieddry and in pre-mixed 25kg bags.The mortar has to be mixed for 4minutes with the quantity of waterstated on the bag. This to ensurethat water can mix with all thecement particles. After mixing for4 minutes a creamy mass shouldhave been created with no drymortar in the mix.It remains workable within thebucket for approx. 4 hours (summertype) and 2 hours (wintertype). Winter type can be used ifthe temperature during usage andhardening does not exceed -3°. Itwill reach its initial bond strengthwithin 7 to 10 minutes, and full designbond strength within 28 days.
