<strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Report</strong> <strong>2011</strong><strong>Geely</strong> <strong>Automobile</strong> <strong>Holdings</strong> <strong>Limited</strong>Management <strong>Report</strong>Production PlantsThe Group started the mass production of its new6-speed automatic transmissions at its new plant inXiangtan in August <strong>2011</strong>. The new automatic gearboxwas first installed in the Group’s new mid-size model:GLEagle “GC7”, which was launched in the Chinamarket in December <strong>2011</strong>. Market response to “GC7”and its new 6-speed automatic transmissions has beenencouraging so far. The Group will gradually expandthe production volume of the automatic gearboxes inits Xiangtan plant and plans to install the automatictransmissions in other mid-size models of the Group in2012.
