Where appropriate to the subjectof study, you should also bring yourportfolio of work.English language requirementsA good command of English languageis essential for postgraduate study. IfEnglish is not your first language,you must provide evidence of yourlanguage ability. You may be offered aplace on a course on the condition thatyou reach the required level of Englishfirst. The following requirements are theminimum English language standards:For postgraduate courses, with theexception of the course listed below, thelevel is IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 88 (iBT)or equivalent.For MBA Creative IndustriesManagement, the level is IELTS 6.5 witha minimum of 6.0 for all components orequivalent.Applicants requiring a visa to study in theUK also need a score of at least 5.5 ineach component (reading, writing,speaking and listening) of an IELTS testto meet UKBA requirements.
